Myrtle Beach Police Dept. (MBPD) found a patrol vehicle after it was stolen at a business within the city.
An MBPD officer parked their patrol car in the parking lot of Ed’s Hobby Shop, located at 704 Main Street around 9 a.m. last Saturday.
While the officer was inside the business, the vehicle was stolen, according to an incident report.
Surveillance video showed a man get into the car and drive off southbound in the ally behind the business.
The vehicle was later located by MBPD in the parking area at 1008 Highway 501, which is about half a mile away from the original location.
The incident report lists the suspect as 48-year-old Lee Marvin Livington. His charge(s) are not yet known.
There is no further information at this time.
