A 35-year-old man took a Harris County deputy’s vehicle Saturday morning and led authorities on a nine-minute chase that ended in a rollover, according to HCSO.
The incident began around 10:30 a.m. when a deputy responded to a trespassing call at a Bombshells off the East Freeway.
According to HCSO, the man got into the deputy’s vehicle and drove away, leading authorities on a pursuit that continued south on Spur 330 before exiting at Bayway Drive.
The pursuit ended after a deputy used a PIT maneuver, causing the vehicle to roll over, authorities said. The man then climbed out and tried to run but was quickly caught.
Charges against the 35-year-old man are still being determined, according to HCSO.
