A person stole a police car in North Memphis.

Memphis Police responded to a prowler call on Faxon Avenue around 3:48 a.m. Friday.

While officers were on the call, a person stole a police 2020 Dodge Charger.

Around 5 a.m., officers found the MPD cruiser wrecked out on Second Street and North Mud Island Road.
