The Nye County Sheriff confirms there was an incident involving a stolen police car.
It happened around 1 p.m. on Saturday in Pahrump at Highway 160 and Basin Road.
A suspect stole a sheriff’s vehicle, which resulted in a pursuit.
Shots were fired at the vehicle’s tires, which slowed down the car and it eventually stopped.
The male suspect was taken into custody.
