During the altercation, Wilson was bitten in the forearm by Doyle, and the suspect also caused damage to the cruiser, Stalnaker said.
Stalnaker said that while the troopers were wrestling with Doyle, Arbogast slipped his handcuffs to the front of his body and ran from the scene.
Stalnaker said warrants have been issued for Arbogast’s arrest.
Arbogast, 36, is originally from Dunmore in Pocahontas County.
Doyle, 39, is being charged with obstruction, two counts of battery on an officer, destruction of property, possession of a controlled substance, fleeing and conspiracy. He is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $150,000 bond.
Stalnaker said anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Arbogast should call the Elkins detachment of West Virginia State Police by calling 304-637-0200.
