A woman was taken into custody after a sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle was stolen in Kansas City on Tuesday, KMBC-TV reported.

The vehicle belonged to the Andrew County Sheriff’s Office.
It was reported stolen from 72nd Street and Highway 9 about 12:30 p.m., according to Kansas City police.
Authorities said the woman who took it was in handcuffs at the time.
The deputy’s vehicle was found near Interstate 635 and Kansas Highway 5 in Kansas City, Kansas.
The woman was taken into custody a few blocks away.
