04/10/15 Dallas County, MO – Deputy Investigating Assault – Someone Hopped Into His Patrol Car And Drove Off – Suspect Escaped

The Dallas county sheriff tells KY3 news that a man stole a deputy’s patrol car Friday night.

Sheriff Mike Rackley says the deputy was investigating an assault at a house between Buffalo and Long Lane on Highway 32 around 9:00pm Friday night. While gathering witness statements, someone hopped in to the patrol car and drove off.

The Missouri Highway Patrol is helping deputies try and track down the car.

Sheriff Rackley wants the public to be alert of the situation. If they see the Dallas county deputy’s vehicle, call 911 immediately.
