A suspect in a shooting is fatally shot by officers after police say he stole a patrol car and has a confrontation with police.
Andrea Fujii reports it happened just after 2 a.m. Tuesday after a suspect was pulled over on 695 near Washington Boulevard.
Police say the man was possibly wanted in connection with a shooting in Baltimore City.
Police say a struggle occurred, and the suspect took off in the officer’s cruiser.
The cruiser was found empty a short distance away.
The suspect was later found at a shopping center near the 3400-block of Annapolis Road in Baltimore City.
After a confrontation, the suspect was shot at least once and taken to Shock Trauma, where he was pronounced dead.
