A woman is accused of stealing a patrol car from Woodruff Police Department.

Kimberly Dawn Gwinn, 39, of Woodruff has been charged with grand larceny and violating probation, according to online jail records.

A Spartanburg Co. deputy was on patrol when they received word Monday that the stolen vehicle had been tracked by GPS to Kilgore Bridge Road.

The deputy saw the police vehicle parked behind a home, according to a report. The deputy also saw a woman, later identified as Gwinn, who was arrested on scene.

Woodruff police reportedly secured the stolen vehicle.

Gwinn remains in the Spartanburg County Detention Center under $2,000 bond.
